It has been quite a busy week for me, but then the first two weeks of the month are generally this way. And since I have my normal monthly reports to do in addition to preparing a budget for the upcoming fiscal year, it has been even more intense. Thank God for the weekend.
Last week, I had every intention of starting a series to bring attention to the blight (for lack of a better word) of the fast food industry and basically ANY INDUSTRY that provides service to the public (if service can be called what these people provide). What is this you ask? Well, to put it bluntly, the fast food industry (at least in the part of the country where I live) has given rise to a quality of service worker that is reprehensible. The rude “I-work-in-fast-food-and-don’t-get-paid-much-so-I-can-be-nasty-to-the-customer-if-I-want-to” attitude has got to be reeled in. And worse, this attitude is allowed because complaining about it elicits a response from affirmative action sympathizers who feel it is necessary to subsidize those who “feel deserving” rather than work for what they earn.
I have no tolerance for the fast food industry. How much effort does it take to read a receipt that says two burgers paid for and then only give the user one burger? If this were a once in a while situation I could tolerate it. But this is EVERY SINGLE VISIT! And worse, management tolerates it because they are afraid of legal action for terminating an employee that does not offer customer service.
Bottom line, CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BECOME A MYTH. There is no more “the customer is always right”. So this series of next few photos is dedicated to those “low-lifes” who have decided that the customer no longer matters. The next step will be for the customers to revolt and stop giving these disrespectful food service workers the money that feeds their wallets and purses. Stop the abuse…boycott fast food.

Song of the Day: Beautiful Disaster
He drowns in his dreams
An exquisite extreme
I know
He’s as damned as he seems
And more heaven than a heart could hold
And if I try to save him
My whole world could cave in
It just ain't right
It just ain't right
Oh and I don't know
I don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
And if I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful?
Or just a beautiful disaster
He's magic and myth
As strong as what I believe
A tragedy with
More damage than a soul should see
And do I try to change him?
So hard not to blame him
Hold on tight
Hold on tight
Oh 'cause I don't knowI don't know what he's after
But he’s so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
And if I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful?
Or just a beautiful disaster
I'm longing for love and the logical
But he's only happy hysterical
I'm waiting for some kind of miracle
Waited so long
So long
He’s soft to the touch
But frayed at the end he breaks
He’s never enough
And still he's more than I can take
Oh 'cause I don't knowI don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
And if I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful?
Or just a beautiful disaster
He’s beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
